‘HOS GELDINIZ’ - WELCOME
A rich legacy of history and
culture dating back more than nine thousands years. A stunning
country steeped in ancient tales, cities and archaeological
sites. Where East meets West, the crossroads of Europe and
Asia offering modern facilities with old fashioned charm.
For historians and sun lovers alike, Turkey has something
special for everyone. Once the home to the Ottoman Empire, the
old capital Constantinople, now Istanbul is one of the most
fascinating and magical cities in the world.
Turkey’s west coastline stretches for thousands of miles,
offering sun-drenched beaches, crystal clear waters and breath-taking
scenery. It’s no wonder it attracts so many visitors, whether
it’s a sleepy fishing village, a tranquil bay or an active
resort-there are plenty to choose from. |

Dotted along the Aegean coast
are many picturesque villages and bustling resorts,
Kusadasi meaning ‘Bird Island’ is one of the most popular.
The town boasts a buzzing harbour, a popular stopover for
many cruise ships. The promenade lined with palm trees
stretches along the seafront to the Yacht Marina.
Kusadasi is a beautiful town of traditional narrow cobbled
streets and old style shopping bazaars. As shopping is one
of the most popular pass-times, you too will be unable to
resist the temptation of leather, gold and hand made
carpets. Another amazing experience is a visit to the
weekly open air market selling fresh fruit and vegetables
where the scent and colour of nature fills the air.
Kusadasi is situated 40 minutes drive from Izmir Airport
but can also be accessed from Bodrum Airport offering
flights all year round from Ireland and the UK. ‘Ephesus’
which houses on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is
located just 20kms away where you will also find the
‘House of the Virgin Mary’ which is believed to be the
last resting place of Our Lady.

Kusadasi
attracts a cross-section of visitors from all over the
world, lending it a truly exotic atmosphere, from
historians, yacht owner to sun worshippers and young
clubbers alike. Here you will find an interesting mix of
old and new which makes Kusadasi the ideal location for
your second home!!!!
This is just one of many fantastic destinations in Turkey.
A little further South sits the resort of ‘Bodrum’ on a
peninsula dotted with traditional fishing villages and
stunning views of the Aegean Sea.
From the Aegean to the Mediterranean there are numerous
choices on offer from a busy city-like ‘Antalya’ to a
sleepy village ‘Side’. If it isn’t enough that Turkey has
sunshine all year, the snow-capped mountains of ‘Uludag’
offer some of the best skiing for the winter months. Just
a short boat trip away takes you to the Greek Islands off
the west and South coast. |
